I have been trying to write my blog about the work I am doing this week but it’s just not happening. Every word I write hits the screen and falls flat. Every thought evaporates into meaninglessness before I have a chance to expand it. My attempts to inject life and passion into a topic which I am deeply passionate about are stale drivel.
Today a friend lost her Dad. He was 90 years old and had lived a full life. He had children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and more along with an extended family and whole town who loved him. He contributed much to this life with his smile and skills. He was a humble man who lived a humble life. He loved his family and gave them the true and lasting gifts.
So tonight my heart reaches beyond my work here to my friend who loved her Dad and will miss him deeply. Rest and peace Edmon Ryerse. Hope and sweet memories to the family as you walk through the days and months of mourning and missing him.
